YTC: Youth Transition Collective

We’re excited to share an important update: The Youth Transition Conference is now the Youth Transition Collective. This change reflects our commitment to building a strong, collaborative network rather than a single annual event.

History

The NJ Youth Transition Conference (YTC) was created by Values Into Action NJ for youth & young adults who experience an intellectual and/or developmental disability, their caregivers, and the professionals who serve them.

Since YTC began, our goal has been to support people and families navigating the transition to adult life and services. For several years, we offered learning and networking opportunities that culminated in a virtual conference. We accomplished this through partnerships with state agencies, organizations, and the people and families that we serve.

Why the change?

Times have changed. Long online conferences are no longer the preferred way to engage. People want bite size learning opportunities that fit busy schedules. The new Youth Transition Collective keeps our mission intact while embracing a more accessible, year round approach.

What’s next:

  • Vendor Spotlight Sessions
  • Short, focused webinars
  • Blog posts with practical guidance and real stories to help families and professionals navigate transition.

Thank you to the partners, speakers, and families who have helped YTC thrive. We’re optimistic about the future and eager to keep strengthening a collaborative network that makes the transition to adulthood clearer, kinder, and more connected.
